DR. ALAIN L. FYMAT is a medical-physical scientist and an educator. He is the current President/ CEO and Institute Professor at the International Institute of Medicine & Science with a previous appointment as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, California, U.S.A. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Oncology, Critical Care Medicine, and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Earlier, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of Research Oversight). At the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, he was Scientific Director of Radiology, Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and, for a time, Acting Chair of Radiology. Previously, he was Director of the Division of Biomedical and Biobehavioral Research at the University of California at Los Angeles/Drew University of Medicine and Science. He was also Scientific Advisor to the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, for its postdoctoral programs tenable at the California Institute of Technology and Member of the Advisory Group for Research & Development, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). He is Health Advisor to the American Heart & Stroke Association, Coachella Valley Division, California. He is a frequent Keynote Speaker and Organizing Committee member at several international scientific/medical conferences. He has lectured extensively in the U.S.A, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has published ~ 475 scholarly scientific publications and books. He is also Editor-in-Chief, Honorable Editor or Editor of numerous medical/scientific Journals to which he regularly contributes. Dr Sanath Kumar has been working as District Tuberculosis and HIV AIDS Controlling Officer since 2013 to present. He Achieved more than 87% success rates in TB cure, 3% Lost to Follow Up and death rate 8% in 2013 – 2017. Also Achieved decreased in number of HIV patients, prevalence from 1.5 to below 1% from 2013 to 2018. He succeeded in decentralizing DR-TB center from state headquarters to district level, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with private Medical College, by this increased in patient’s compliance for treatment and adherence. Achieved more than 85% in sputum conversion rate from positive to negative. By Involving Private Practitioners in Revised National TB Control Programme, achieved 98% private referral to programme (Published research paper by IPH and ITM, for this paper I’m a co-investigator). By Providing nutrition to poor TB patients from his own funds and collected from well- wishers and there by achieved more than 87% success rate, decreased lost to follow up rates from 8 to 3% (For this best services to mankind I was honored with district (2015) and state (2016) prestigious award “Sarvothama Seva Prashasthi” on Republic Day. During COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 the district case detection in TB (CDR) down to 45%, we from NTEP staff’s and myself visited every patients house distributed medicines for 2 months, screened contacts in patients house and provided food groceries from our own fund for those who needy TB patients, we also continuously monitored TB patients and their contacts. Since the COVID-19 pandemic started we from NTEP collected sputum samples from Influenza Like Illness (ILI), SARI cases and extensively screened TB presumptive cases by mobile x-ray van and also referred to general hospitals for x-rays, by this we improved case detection by 15%.

Dr. Muhammad Imran is from Peshawar Pakistan. He began his academic career with lots of motivation and dreams and in fact these clinches helped him in securing a good academic record. He got his M.Sc and M.Phil (MS) in Biochemistry (Pakistan) and Ph.D in Molecular Medicine in 2014 from the Ajou University School of Medicine South Korea. During his MS he did research in Food Biochemistry while his research focusses during Ph.D was Cancer Cells Signalling. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heba Khella is working at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and actively involved in teaching a number of basic as well as clinical sciences courses. She is an MD with a PhD degree from University of Toronto, an innovative, and creative thinking health care professional, researcher and teacher. In addition to broad clinical experience, she has diverse experience in several research fields from cancer research to chronic diseases. She obtained her medical degree and MSc degree from Egypt and was appointed as a faculty member at the Department of Anatomy and Embryology, Suez Canal University. Also, she has extensive clinical experience in diverse health care systems. She joined the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto as a PhD Student. This was followed by Postdoctoral fellowship training at St. Michael's Hospital. Dr. Khella hard work was rewarded by receiving many prestigious awards as well as a strong record of peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and conference presentations. She initiated and conducted multiple successful projects in the field of miRNAs, kidney cancer and low back pain research. In the field of low back pain, her research is mainly focused on exploring the molecular basis of low back pain and exploring the role of miRNAs as key regulatory molecules in the inflammatory process. This will help in more understanding of the pathogenesis of low back pain and can lead to new biomarker discovery for this common distressing complaint. In the field of kidney cancer, her research is mainly focused on exploring the role of miRNAs in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) tumour progression. She tested the clinical utility of miRNAs as prognostic and predictive biomarkers in RCC in a large cohort of patients. Dr. Khella identified the miRNAs that are dysregulated in metastatic renal cell carcinoma compared to primary renal cell carcinoma and validated this signature on primary and metastatic RCC tissues. Also, she tested the effect of changing the level of these miRNAs on cellular proliferation, invasion, and migration in RCC cell line models. Her research showed that miRNAs play an important role in RCC progression and represent promising prognostic and predictive biomarkers in RCC.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Vipin Tewani is an experienced paediatric orthopaedic surgeon who aims at bringing the care for the tiny tots to their nearby cities. He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Institute, Tumakuru. Dr Rahul completed his MBBS from JSS Medical college, Mysuru in 2015. He did his masters from St Stephens Hospital, New Delhi where he was associated with Dr Mathew Varghese and gained his experience in treating vastly paediatric and adult patients. He has completed his Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics (affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) from the renowned Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bengaluru. He has got 2nd prize in Undergraduate Haematology Quiz Contest held at Krishna institute of medical sciences deemed university ,Karad on Saturday 2nd august 2014 by Dr.M.B.Agarwal, MD, President ,Mumbai Haematology Group and 3rd prize in SMART-2013 QUIZ organized by School of Paraclinical Medical Sciences, D.Y.Patil University,Kolhapur on 13th and 14th august 2013. Poster presentation in MASICON 2019 held in Aurangabad on 31st January to 1st February 2019 and secured 2nd prize in the same. He has done 8 publications during residency period, 1 publication as a senior resident and 3 publications as assistant professor. I am a surgeon with over 17 years of varied experience, most of them in the leading hospitals in the United Kingdom. In addition to my MBBS, I have MRCS from both England and Glasgow to back my FRCS Exit Exam in General Surgery. Further to this, I have a Masters in Advanced Surgical Practice from Cardiff University and have regularly been teaching both at undergraduate level as well as a Surgical Instructor over a diverse range of surgical topics at various levels. I intend to continue with my work as a Consultant General Surgeon with Colorectal Surgery as my sub-specialty interest.
