Efficacy of Polyherbal Formulations in Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment

Arthritis is a common health issue that affects millions of patients suffering from arthritis struggle with severe joint pain and nearly half of all adults with arthritis experience persistent pain more than 100 types of arthritis have been identified two of the most common types are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis impair joint structure and function but differ in symptoms, pathophysiology, and treatment rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune inflammatory disorder affecting almost 1-3 of the world population. The word arthritis means inflammation of the joint (Athol means the joint and it is, meaning inflammation of the joint) RA occurs when our immune system attacks the tissues near joints this is due to release of certain chemical and enzymes that begin to eat away the cartilage and bones system although its cause is still unknown, inflammation in the joints causing pain swelling damage to the joints and also leads to deformity.
