Professor Hussein Soliman is currently working at the School of Social Work at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has worked as a visiting professor at Qatar University, Imam Mohamed bin Saud University, and United Arab Emirates University. He worked as an expert with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) developing and implementing a training program for the relief workers in Jordan, West bank, Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon. Professor Soliman worked as an expert with the United Nations Developing Program (UNDP) in Syria. Between 1998 and 2001 professor worked as an expert with the National Center for Criminology and Social Research in Cairo setting a training program for professionals for drug prevention and education program. He charred the Disaster and Traumatic Stress Symposium of the Council on Social Work Education. Professor Soliman’s main research interest involves disaster and mass traumatic stress. He has published research articles in various topics including service and support to patients with AIDS and ESRD. Dr. Su-Boon Yong is the Chief of Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology at Show Chwan Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, ROC. Dr. Yong received his medical degree from the National Cheng Kung Medical College University and now at PhD program at the Institute of Medicine, Chung Shan Medical College University, Taiwan, ROC. He completed his pediatrics residency at the Department of Pediatrics, Kao-Shiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, ROC. Dr. Yong continues to make contributions to the scientific community. His primary field of study is primary focus on the safety of biological therapy for autoimmune diseases, childhood rheumatology diseases and childhood asthma diseases. Dr. Yong has been invited to speak at international conferences and institutes. In 2018, he was a keynote speaker for Pediatrics Submit Conference in Tokyo, Japan and was also invited to speak at the DOHaD (Developmental Origins of Health and Disease) meeting in Taiwan. Raffaele Pilla, Pharm.D., Ph.D., Doctor Europaeus, received his Master’s degree in Pharmacy at G. d’Annunzio University in Chieti-Pescara, Italy in 2005, where he also served internships at the Cell Physiology Laboratory and Molecular Biology Laboratory. Prior to his degree, he was an Erasmus Student at Faculté de Pharmacie de Reims in Reims, France. He received his Doctor Europaeus in 2010 from Pitié-Salpétrière Institute in Paris, France. Also in 2010, he received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Physiology, and Pathology of Muscle at G. d’Annunzio University in Chieti-Pescara, Italy. He was hired as a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, on two research grants respectively funded by the Office of Naval Research (US Navy) and Divers’ Alert Network. He has written and lectured widely on his experiences. Dr. Pilla has been involved in ongoing research at the University of South Florida with the use of ketone esters. The initial work, funded by the Office of Naval Research, focused on using ketone esters to prevent CNS oxygen toxicity. Dr. Pilla is working to coordinate efforts in the United States and Italy to expand the ketone ester research to other conditions such as epilepsy and cancer and its use as an alternative metabolic fuel. Dr. Robert Lucia is the inpatient clinical coordinator at the pediatric and adult cystic fibrosis centers at Children’s Hospital of Illinois and OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He received his Doctorate in Family Practice from Bradley University and did his training at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria in conjunction with the University of Illinois- College of Medicine Peoria. Dr Harb is graduated from Faculty of Nursing, University of Jordan on 1993. Immediately after graduation, he was in the commissioning team for establishing the Arab Center for Heart and Special Surgery in Amman and worked as Cardiac Registered Nurse then Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab. He had 2 Master Degree, one in Nursing Education from University of Jordan and another one in Critical Care from Ohio State University. On 1998, Dr Harb had migrated to Australia and worked there as Clinical Nurse Consultant. On 2003, he worked at Ministry of National Guards for Health Affairs (NGHA-Riyadh) as Clinical Resource Nurse in Nursing Education till 2010 when he had completed his PhD in Healthcare Administration and he adopted Grounded Theory to publish a conceptual Model on the Factors Affecting Quality of Nursing Care therefore he was appointed as Acting Director of Patient Safety & Quality Standards in NGHA (Madinah) till 2014. Between 2014-2017, Dr Harb had worked as Director of Nursing Education at Security Forces Hospital- Riyadh and he was a visiting Professor Assistant in King Saud Bin Abdul-Aziz University for Health Specialties. On Jan 2018 till present, he joined Nursing Education at King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam Dr Harb has one book published titled "Cardiology for Registered Nurses”, more than 15 Abstracts and 5 published researches and articles. He is a speaker at several international Symposia and conferences, member in American Heart Association. During his career, he constructed and developed many courses and programs accredited by Saudi Council such as Cardiac Catheterization Upgrading Program, Invasive Hemodynamic Programs, "Medication Administration Course", "IV Therapy Course", "Preceptor Course", "Charge Nurse Course", "Burn Critical Care Course", "Pain Management Course", "Wound Care Management Course", "Neonatal Nursing Care', "Critical Care Course" and "Leadership and Management Course" and many other Cross Training and Up skilling programs.

His main research findings were published in an article “Low Birth Weight among Black Latinas” in the Maternal and Child Health Journal. Dr. Lucia is an Assistant Professor at Bradley University and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria. Dr. Lucia is a three-time Bradley University graduate receiving his Undergraduate Degree in 2008, his Masters in 2011, and his Doctorate in 2019. All three of his degrees were from the College of Education and Health Sciences. Dr. Lucia started his career at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois in 2010 as a mental health provider in Pediatric Palliative Care. He worked closely with patients with devastating diagnoses companioning them through their end-of-life journey. In 2015, he joined the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at OSF Healthcare as inpatient clinical coordinator. This innovate role was created to help manage the inpatient consult service for cystic fibrosis patients in both the pediatric and adult setting. This unique RN role utilized the full nursing scope of practice and the work Dr. Lucia did to reduce 30-day readmission rates was published nationally. In 2019, Dr. Lucia moved into clinical practice in OSF OnCall Urgent Care and eventually was the Lead Provider for the region before transitioning over to Bradley University. Majid Mohammed Mahmood is currently a Professor of Immunology at Mustansiriyah University, College of Science, Baghdad. Iraq. Majid completed his M.Sc. in immunology in 1990 and his Ph.D. in immunology in 1997. His experiences are in clinical immunology, sera and vaccines, tumor immunology, and immune diseases. He is the principal investigator on multiple research projects within the National Research Centers. He has published about 50 scientific papers and articles in national and international journals.
