Abstract

Esophageal atresia is a condition babies are born with that affects the esophagus, which is the tube that connects the throat to the stomach. This condition can cause serious problems if not treated early. It is important for parents, caregivers, and doctors to understand esophageal atresia because early treatment can make a big difference in a child's health.
