The highest-performing setup for a smart antenna receiver is data decoding from a smart antenna transmitter, but it may also simply add array gain or diversity gain to the appropriate signals coming from the right transmitters to remove interference. The intelligent antenna electronically adjusts to its surroundings A smart antenna, which is essentially co-located with a base station, combines an antenna array with digital signal processing power to broadcast and receive in an antenna-sensitive way.
