  Our life has been improved a lot due to industrial revolution. Drugs and antibiotics are the great gift of Chemistry. The global food production also increased due to Green revolution. The standard of our life is much better due to variour cosmetic products. Like a coin, Chemistry has another side of ill effects which damage the three basic essential elements of land, water and air. The discharge of toxic waste by chemical industries also responsible for pollution of environment. Chemical industry must follow the principles of green chemistry. For a continuous increase in population and restricted natural resources in this world where the idea of green chemistry posing a big challenge. Our scientific research must work for the welfare of our people. We have to increase the direct interface of science with society. We need to strengthen our policies, regulations, investments and management to achieve our sustainable goals. In order to attain Sustainable Development, we have to bridge our traditional knowledge and Modern Science. Green chemistry indicates the backbone that hold up our sustainable future. Many industries and academic research recognize the importance of green chemistry. The Green Chemistry is making us all to build a more sustainable, safer, progressive and prosperous mother planet for all humanity.
