Abstract

This case report describes a 6-week-old sun conure chick, Yuzu, diagnosed with intestinal candidiasis. Initial clinical signs included weight loss, increased hunger, poor stool quality, and poor feather quality. Following stabilization and diagnostic procedures, Yuzu was treated with Nystatin and subsequently fluconazole upon culture confirmation of Candida albicans. The case emphasizes the importance of early intervention, proper nutrition, and hygiene in avian husbandry.
