Abstract

HIV or AIDS is one of the sexually transmitted disease for which there is no preventive or possible preventive or possible vaccine available right now. But we can prevent the viral copying by targeting the viral specific proteins Reverse transcriptase or integrase and protease through miRNAs. HIV contain ss positive sense RNA as genome which can directly acts as mRNA for the synthesis of these proteins. As these proteins are specific to virus it is non toxic to normal healthy cells and don’t interfere with the normal cell protein synthesis in humans. Targeting long terminal repeats in HIV can also be a possible vaccine in near future as it contains enhancers or silencers required for enhanced transcription or gene expression. We can also use gene silencing methodology for shutting of genes for viral replication. Can precision medicine is possible with prephophylaxis and post prophylaxis probably yes by using some of the antiretrovirals and immunogloblins to the envelope proteins so that completely neutalising the virus and clearing the virus before activating the T cells. Immunoboosters for TH cells in the form of mabs that can act as costimulatory signal for T cells that got entered in to anergy can be possible based on the person’s immune system or genetic characteristics it is merely possible in the near future. We can also propose vaccine by preventing the genome copying of the virus. We can inhibit the synthesis of viral replication by targeting reverse transcriptase through antibodies by tagging the Mabs with targeting effector molecules of HIV after immediate entry and degradation of RT by Mabs through opsonisation and macrophage activation in turn leading to T- cell activation in effective manner. Through all these regulatory mechanisms we can expect the vaccine for HIV in near future.
