Dr. Ashish Srivastava is an Associate Professor (DST-INSPIRE Faculty) at Amity Institute of Virology and Immunology, Amity University, Noida, India. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Bio-Technology (Plant Virology specialization) from R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur & CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, India in 2010 and 2016, respectively. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as Senior Scientist Grade II at Amity University, Noida, India and in 2018 as Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, UK. He also worked as a visiting scientist in 2016 at South Dakota State University, Brookings, USA. He has published his many different articles in indexed journals such as, Frontiers in Plant Sciences, PlosOne, Plant Disease, Phytochemistry, Archives of Virology, Virus Genes and Virus Research. He participated to different International conferences organized at Birmingham, UK and various places in India. Recently, he has been elected as the Associate member of the Royal Society of Biology, London and American Phytopathological Society. He is also serving as a member of the Editorial board and reviewer of many journals
Dr. Ashish Srivastava research interests are Plant Virology; Host-Parasite interaction; Gene editing; CRISPR/Cas9.
