Dr. Bharti Aneja, earned B.Sc. degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2008 and has done Masters (2010) and Doctorate (2014) in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India. Her core area of research is Plant Biotechnology. She has Post Doctoral research experience of more than four years. As a Research Associate, she worked at ICAR- IIWBR, Karnal for more than two years, where she worked upon metagenomics, precise phenotyping under field and controlled conditions, data collection of different phenotypic traits and their analysis and molecular marker analysis of different wheat varieties. She is presently working on probiotics at ICAR- NDRI, Karnal. Till date she has published ten research articles in international and national journals of good impact, six book chapters, one popular article and nine abstracts. She has qualified ICAR- NET (Agricultural Biotechnology), GATE (Life Sciences) and ARS Mains Exams. Also, she has reviewed manuscripts for the journal “3 Biotech” (Springer) and “International Journal of Agricultural Sciences” (Bioinfo Publications).
The research interests of Dr. Bharti Aneja are Molecular markers, plant biotechnology, transcript profiling studies, metagenomics, phenotyping studies, proteomics and probiotics.
