Dr. Mirko Borisov had his BSc. degree in 1991, MSc. in 1996, and PhD. in 2004, from University of Belgrade, Serbia in the field of geodesy and geoinformatic. He was appointed director of the Military Geographical Institute at Belgrade in 2006, and later became professor of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. As lecturer of the Military Technical Academy since 1997. and now associate professor of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, he has more than 125 papers in the field of geodesy and geoinformatic and supervised more than 90 BSc students
Dr. Mirko Borisov research interests are Department of Department of Computing and Control Engineering i.e Geoinformatic, Cartography, Digital Terrain Modeling, either in the form of technologies, development of projects, implementation of new cartographic methods or through his participation in the development of spatial information systems and management mode etc.
