Forough Shavakhi got her BSc. degree in Food Science and Technology from Isfahan University of Technology in 1994, Iran and then earned MSc. degree in 1997 from Tehran University, Iran in Food Science and Technology and got her Ph.D. degree in 2011 from Putra University, Malaysia. She is member of scientific board of Agricultural Engineering Research Institute since 1997 till now and she has more than 20 research papers in the field of Food Science and Technology and also more than 20 research projects in this field.
Dr. Forough Shavakhi research interests are Post harvest Technology and Processing of Olive oil and Olive product; Processing and Preservation of Fruits &Vegetables; Drying Technology of Fruits & Vegetables.
