Dr. Vinicius Marques GOMES is a professor of Chemistry at UNOESTE (Universidade do Oeste Paulista - Presidente Prudente - São Paulo - Brazil) in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Biological Sciences and Zootechnics, teaching in the most diverse areas of chemistry (General, Analytical, Organic, Quantum, Electrochemical, Environmental, Physicochemical and Instrumental). He received his M.Sc and Ph.D in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry at the University of the State of São Paulo (UNESP - Araraquara - São Paulo - Brazil) in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He has a book and several articles published in the areas of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. His doctoral thesis was awarded at an international scientific event in China in 2012 (IHSS). He is also serving as a member of the Editorial Board and reviewer for many magazines.
Prof. Dr. Vinicius Marques Gomes research interests are toxic metals (in soil, water, sediment, animal and food matrices), complexation capacity, organic metals and remediation of contaminated areas.
