Dr. Dragan Žnidarčič has been working as an associate professor in the Department of Agronomy, Biotechnical Faculty in the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) since 2011. He completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees in the University of Ljubljana in 1988, 1996 and 2004, respectively. He is currently teaching courses in Growing of Less Known Vegetables, Aromatic Plants and Sprouts. Dr. Dragan Žnidarčič has published more than 120 research papers, 5 Review Articles, 180 Technical articles in various National and International peer reviewed Journals and also published 3 Book Chapters and presented 60 abstracts in various National and International Seminars/Conferences. He served as a reviewer for many respected journals such as Food Chemistry, Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology, Journal of the Science of Food, Agriculture and Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research. He was participant in numerous national research programs funded by the Slovenian Research Agency.
Assoc. Prof. Dragan Žnidarčič research interests are, postharvest technology of vegetables, vegetable growing, hidroponics, fertigation, production technics, primary and secondary metabolites, antioxidants.
