Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh is Associate Professor and Head of Horticulture Department in Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab (India). He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Horticulture from Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology and Purvanchal University, UP (India) in 2003 and 2010, respectively. From 2009 to 2014, he worked as PGT Chemistry and since 2015 he is working as Assistant Professor (Horticulture) at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. He has published many research articles and review papers in indexed journals such as, Journal of Environmental Biology, Annals of Biology, Carpathian Journal of Food Science and Technology, Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, International Journal of Chemical Studies, Journal of Crop and Weeds, etc. He is also serving as Editorial board member and reviewer of many journals.

Prof. Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh research interest is Intercropping in fruit crops; Postharvest handling and management fruit crops; Biofertilizer application and INM practices in horticultural crops; Clonal propagation and germplasm evaluation of fruit crops; Application of Plant growth regulators in fruit crops.
