Professor Karadas, female, Master Degree in “ Feeds and Animal Nutrition, at the Animal Science Department of Ankara University (Turkey), Ph.D. in “ Feeds and Animal Nutrition, at the Animal Science Department of Ankara University (Turkey), Post-Doctoral Researcher, at the Scottish Agriculture College, Avian Science Research Science, Ayr, Scotland-United Kingdom. She is researcher and lecturer at the Department of Animal Science of University of Van Yuzuncu Yil (Turkey), her main research topic is using several advanced biochemical techniques including HPLC-based methods for analysis of various antioxidants including tocopherol, retinol, retinol esters, coenzyme Q10, total carotenoids, individual carotenoids, ascorbic acid, MDA, particularly in eggs and tissues of poultry and other avian species. Analyses of aflatoxin in animal feed as well. Her researches mainly focused on effects of maternal carotenoids investment in eggs and transfer to progeny. In the last 12 years, she has published about 47 scientific papers in good referee journals mostly focused on the antioxidant accumulation of avian system.
