Dr. Deodas Tarachand Meshram is a Sr. Scientist at Land and Water Management Engineering division in ICAR-NRC on Pomegranate (Solapur, India). He received his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Irrigation and Water Management Engineering in IIT, Kharagapur and MPUAT, Udaipur in 1997 and 2010, respectively. From 1997 to 2001, he worked as a Junior Scientist, in Maharashtra Remote Sensing Application Center, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. He were also gave a service as Assistant Professor for 1 year. He has published many different articles in indexed Journal such as Irrigation scheduling for horticulture fruit crops, Soil and Water Conservation techniques, Watershed planning and management, Remote sensing and GIS application for Natural Resources Management, Stochastic modeling, Real time irrigation scheduling, Sensor based irrigation, Precision farming, Shade-net and climate change. He is having total 22 years experience and written number 31 National, 11 International research papers and 4 books. Presently he is working as Sr. Scientist (Land and Water Management Engineering) at ICAR-NRC on Pomegranate, Indian Council of Agriculture Research, and Solapur, India. He is also serving as a member of the Editorial board and reviewer of many journals.
Dr. Deodas Tarachand Meshram research interests are irrigation scheduling, sensor based irrigation, remote sensing and GIS application, stochastic modeling and watershed management.
