Dr. Rai Muhammad Amir, his M.Phil & Ph.D in Food Science and Technology from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. He has completed MSc (Hons) in Food Technology with high grade CGPA 4.00/4.00 and started his carrier in 2010 as Research Associate and engaged in documenting and mitigating the pesticide and heavy metal residues in different vegetables growing in peri urban areas of various districts of Pakistan. Then he joined Institute of Food & Nutritional Sciences, PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi as an Assistant Professor. He is teaching Food Toxicology, Cereal Technology, Food Safety, Food Quality Management, Beverage Technology, Community Nutrition and Diet Modelling and Counselling. He is well equipped with research expertise related to Food Safety and Toxicology as well as having experience in using GC-ECD, HPLC, FTIR, Gluten Index Meter, Texture Analyzer, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Flame photometer, Spectrophotometer and all analytical method. He is a member of various food societies and reviewer of several National and International Research Journals.
