Filomena Lelario was born in Italy, mars 27th, 1974.She received the Master degree, summa cum laude, in Chemistry in 2000 from the University of Basilicata and the PhD in "Crop Systems, Forestry and Environmental Science" in 2004 from the same University. Since 2004 she has obtained from University of Basilicata several research grants devoted to analytical methods development based on liquid chromatography and low and high resolution mass spectrometry, for the determination of natural substances and xenobiotics in vegetable, biological and environmental samples. She is a coauthor of several papers published on international peer-review, conference papers and book chapters. She is involved in several research projects supported by national and international grants
Dr. Filomena Lelario research interests are as follows: Soil chemistry; Soil – water remediation; Pesticide chemistry and biochemistry; Chemistry of natural substances in vegetables and soil; Pharmaceuticals from plants and microorganisms; Fate of xenobiotics in the environment; Environmental Photochemistry; Analytical chemistry Mass spectrometry.
