Dr. Subramanian Sankaranarayanan works as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules, Nagoya University, Japan. He earned his Master’s degree in Plant Biotechnology from the Centre for Plant Molecular Biology (CPMB), Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, India and his PhD in Plant Developmental Biology from the University of Calgary, Canada. He has published research papers in reputed International journals like Nature Plants, PNAS, Current Biology, Plant Physiology and Molecular Plant. He also has authored two book chapters. He has delivered several invited talks including two in international conference held in USA. He is a recipient of several awards and fellowship like the JSPS post-doctoral fellowship, Gene Huber award for the best PhD thesis, Eyes High International Doctoral Scholarship and the Global Open Doctoral Scholarship to name a few. He is an ambassador for the American Society of Plant Biologists. He is a reviewer for Biosciences Biotechnology Asia Journal and International Journal of Plant Biology and Research. He also serves as the Editor for Bharat Journal of Science Technology and Humanities.
