Dr. J. Camilo Quintero Gómez

Biography

Juan Camilo Quintero Gómez, born on April 30, 1995 in El Santuario, Antioquia (Colombia). Currently a Physiotherapist graduated from the University of Santander, Specializing Safety and Health at Work at the Catholic University of Manizales, certifier of disability endorsed by the government, and Lifeguard of the Colombian Red Cross with a specialization in Health and Community First Aid. On the other hand, complementary education has focused on the development of skills in the area of physical, cardiac, pulmonary and physical rehabilitation. Likewise, he developed more than 20 scientific research studies published in indexed journals around the world in various lines of research, with greater emphasis on cardiopulmonary, oncological and physical rehabilitation, participated in different prestigious conferences, such as the Congress of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (2019), where he obtained 1st place in the poster modality contest. In the same way, co-author of a first published book on cardiac rehabilitation, currently in the process of publishing a second book on "Physiotherapy in Cancer" and a third in writing on "Physiotherapy in ICU-acquired weakness". Collaborator of various different research groups: Aletheia (Mexico), Fundación Diversidad (Colombia), and Universidad de Pamplona (Colombia). Currently, there have been more than 15 new scientific research studies and a fourth book collaboration on physical performance.
