Dr Rohan Bidwai is an Indian and UK trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with Subspeciality interest in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy. He is currently working as Post FRCS Hip and Knee Fellow at Wirral University Teaching Hospital, UK. Dr Rohan completed MBBS from Grant Medical College and JJ Hospital in Mumbai.After completion of MS Orthopaedics from busy tertiary centre, Gauhati Government Medical College, he gained further experience working as Senior registrar in Mumbai .He also had opportunity to work at dedicated centre for Arthroplasty involving Computer Navigation in Mumbai with work getting accepted in National and International meetings. Dr Rohan was selected for Mch Hip and Knee at Wrightington Hospital in UK which has been worldwide “Centre of Excellence” following seminal work of Prof John Charnley in Hip replacement surgery. Along with advanced surgical training, his research work was presented in British Hip Society, British Knee Society. Dr Rohan subsequently completed his FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics and also completed Fellowship of European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT). He works as a Faculty for FRCS preparation course and have also written a book chapter focussing on “Lower Limb for FRCS”. He works as Peer reviewer for PubMed indexed journals and has keen interest in teaching.
