Dr. Ioannis C Vossinakis

Biography

Ioannis Vossinakis, an experienced orthopaedic surgeon, graduated from the Medical School of Athens University and completed his specialty in Orthopaedics at the General Hospital of Volos. He, subsequently, worked for 5 years as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Great Britain and in 2001 he returned to his hometown as consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Volos General Hospital, where he worked until 2008. Since then, he maintains a private practice in the city of Volos and he heads the Orthopaedic department of “ANASSA” General, in Volos. He also works with “ASKLEPEION” and “IASO” Thessaly hospitals in Larissa. Skilled in arthroscopic surgery and sports injuries treatment, knee, hip and shoulder surgery (arthroscopy, arthroplasty, osteotomies), treatment of skeletal deformities with distraction osteogenesis (Ilizarov) method and an extensive range of general orthopaedics and traumatology (fractures, dislocations, including pelvic and acetabular fractures).
