Dr. Ammar Suhail currently works in the School of Physiotherapy in the prestigious Lovely Professional University, Punjab. He has done his graduation from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. Afterwards he did his postgraduation in Orthopedic Physiotherapy from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He has worked at Multi-specialty Apollo Hospital, New Delhi where he was actively involved in rehabilitation of post-surgery Orthopedic patients and different musculoskeletal disorders. He has attended various conferences and workshops. He has given a keynote lecture on “Low Back Pain: A Global Major Challenge” at International Conference on Expanding Domains of Physiotherapy. He has been actively involved in designing and conception of studies for physiotherapy community at different levels.
Dr. Ammar Suhail (PT) is keenly interested in biostatistics and its application to medical and allied health sciences. The other area of interest is Tendinopathy and its management. Low back pain practice patterns in Indian context. Development of questionnaires and validity testing of those questionnaires. Qualitative research is one of the thrust areas of my expertise.
