Dr. Majid Hajifaraji

Biography

Majid Hajifaraji is a Research Associate Professor. He has completed PhD in the field of clinical nutrition from Kings College London. He was director of National Nutrition and Food Technology Research Institute, dean of Faculty of from 2010- 2015 and head of WHO- Collaborating Centre for Nutrition Training and Research & WHO-EMRO regional advisor (2010-2014). He is a member of the National Board of Nutrition and academy of Medical Sciences, Iran. He has over 65 publications that have been cited over 1090 times and has been serving as Chair and Editor-in- chief, Journal of Nutrition and Food Sciences Research and member of the editorial board and reviewer of several reputed Journals.· Head of National Clinical Nutrition Knowledge and guidelines, Ministry of Health, Iran (2012-2015)· · WHO-EMRO regional advisor for Health and Nutrition (2010-2015).Responsible for compilation and preparation of the National Document for Nutrition and Food security, 2012.· A member of Technical and constitutional · A · Chair of the first Middle East Nutrition Leadership Program as WHO Collaborative Centre, Iran, May 28-30, 2012. · The · A ·· Head, WHO- Collaborating Centre for Nutrition Training and Research (2010-2014).
