Dr. Rosângela C. Rodrigues

Biography

Dr. Rosângela C. Rodrigues Graduated in Biological Sciences (2007), a master's degree from the Graduate Program in Health Sciences of the University of Brasilia-UnB (2010) and a PhD in the Animal Biology Program of the UnB Biology Institute (2016). Acting on the Neuroetology research line with broad objective of studying the interaction of sexual and non-sexual steroids with animal behavior. Relating these interactions to the reproductive hierarchy, sexual maturity, reproductive senescence, reproductive status and general physiological aspects; such as: Biochemical and Behavioral Parameters. Currently, it has developed projects in the Health in School (PSE) program, which allows the health meeting with education to contribute to the integral education of students, health promotion, prevention and health care actions, with a view addressing vulnerabilities that compromise the full development of children and young people, who are vulnerable to associated problems such as early pregnancy, contraceptive methods, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), psychological and emotional disorders, learning problems, obesity; disease prevention and among other important physiological conditions.
