Mr. Yam Nath Paudel is a Ph.D. researcher at Neuropharmacology Research Laboratory, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. He obtained a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science at Kathmandu University, Nepal, and a Master of Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmacology at Jamia Hamdard University, India. His Ph.D. research focuses on investigating HMGB1 protein as a therapeutic target against epilepsy-induced cognitive decline using the zebrafish model. He is an active member of the International Society of Neurochemistry (ISN), American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Toxicology (ASPET) , Malaysian society of Neuroscience (MSN). He has been awarded prestigious travel grants by ISN, IBRO.
