Mr. Ojah Emmanuel Onah obtained a Bachelor in Chemistry from the University of Makurdi where he graduated with a distinction in Organic chemistry. His Undergraduate research work was on the use of Organic plant extracts in ecofriendly corrosion remediation thereby solving core environmental issues. This work was published in Journal of Advances in Chemistry with an unequal impact factor and attracted grants to his research group. Emmanuel proceeded to the premier University in Nigeria for His master’s degree programme with specialization in Organic Chemistry. Emmanuel Graduated at the top quadrant of the 2016 M.Sc. class with a distinction in Natural products Chemistry. In his masters research work he worked exhaustively on the Isolation, Characterisation and biological activities of some Nigerian medicinal plants for various therapeutic applications. His master research work was outstandingly published in the International Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medical Research in 2017. He also presented his master degree work in three international conferences and received several awards for this including the University of Ibadan Postgraduate School conference grant for outstanding postgraduate research students. He has attended several academic workshops, training and symposium. Emmanuel is a doctoral student/Research assistant in the Medicinal Chemistry research group of the Department of Chemistry University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently a reviewer with Journal of Advances in Chemistry and has reviewed several international publications in all aspects of Chemistry.
