Dr. Anwesha had been awarded her Ph.D at the School of Medical Science & Technology, IIT Kharagpur in the year of 2020 working under the broad area of Tissue engineering, Biomaterials and Drug delivery. Dr. Anwesha Barik has passed B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. with first class from Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2012 and 2014 respectively. She was the recipient of University Gold Medal during M.Pharm. She holds active research and academic interest in the field of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Biomaterials assisted drug delivery. She has worked as Bioanalyst (Responsibilites included Biostatistics, Method development and validation of various compounds in LC-MS/MS, HPLC) in Bioequivalence Study Centre, Jadavpur University, Kolkata for the duration of 2014-2015. During this time, she had acquired basic knowledge about Regulatory affairs needed to conduct Clinical Research and BA/BE Studies. Her broad area of doctoral research was focussed on development of targeted drug delivery system based on titanium implants to improve bone formation. She has published 8 research articles in various peer reviewed national and international journals and published a book chapter in a book series published by Springer as well. She has been associated with several national and international journals as reviewer.
