D. S. N. B. K. Prasanth received his undergraduate pharmacy degree from Andhra University in 2009. He post-graduated from the M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy) program at the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal University. He joined the Department of Pharmacognosy at Sri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Vishnupur, Bhimavaram as an Assistant professor for four years. He worked as an Associate professor at V. V. Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Gudlavalleru, for five years. Presently, he works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, K L College of Pharmacy, K L Deemed to be University, Vaddeswaram, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He obtained his Ph. D in JNTUK, Kakinada. He has vast experience in the field of drug discovery. Quality control methods for crude drugs, isolation of Marker compounds, and various biological activities comprise his major research area. He is also currently involved in developing research in Pharmacognosy. He has ten years of teaching, research, and administrative experience at various esteemed Institutions. Several students have worked under various projects in their undergraduate programs. Several of his projects have won awards in Academic Exhibitions held at various Institutions. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association and Indian Pharmacy Association. He has published more than 35 papers in international/national journals and more than twenty-five papers in national or international repute conferences.
