Fatemeh Rajaii, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in the division of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid, orbital and facial surgery. This includes the surgical treatment of eyelid malpositions, facial skin cancers, tear drainage issues, orbital tumors, and Graves Disease. Dr. Rajaii’s lab has two distinct foci: working to elucidate molecular mechanisms underlying orbital adipogenesis as they pertain to thyroid eye disease and developing novel therapeutic option for uveal melanoma. She also does research focused on the epidemiology and outcomes of periorbital disease and trauma.
