Raju Kaiti is a senior consultant Optometrist, currently working in Nepal Eye Hospital (NEH). He is Lecturer of National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital. Raju Kaiti was born in Thalachhen-4, Bhaktapur, Nepal on 12 December 1987. He holds distinction in his SLC (2059 BS, 81.87%) and +2 (2062 BS, 80.50%). He graduated in Bachelor of Optometry from Institute of Medicine, TU in 2010 (Batch Topper) and completed his post-graduation in Masters of Optometry from Amity University, Haryana, India in 2016. He was awarded merit scholarship for his Bachelor of Optometry course and he has been awarded Gold Medal from Amity University for academic excellence in post- graduation. He has clinical and academic experience of seven years (2011-2017) in Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University. Currently, he is working in Nepal Eye Hospital as a consultant optometrist and academic supervisor. He is looking after ophthalmic assistant course affiliated to CTEVT and B. Optom affiliated to NAMS. He has been involved in many research activities. He has been actively participating in different national and international seminars and symposiums throughout his entire career. He has about 2 dozens of articles published in national and international journals. He has presented many scientific papers and posters nationally and internationally. He has been actively serving as an editor and reviewer in dozens of international journals.
