Dr. Rossen Mihaylov Hazarbassanov is an Ophthalmologist whose main research focus is the diseases that affect the anterior segment and ocular surface, understanding their pathophysiology, diagnose, and evaluating strategies on how to treat them. In the last 20 years, He have performed studies in refractive surgery, ocular drug delivery systems and cornea and external diseases. Recently, he was committed in investigating the mechanisms, advanced diagnostic tools, best clinical practices and treatment of dry eye disease (DED) and keratoconus.
