Dr. Pintu Choudhary is currently working as Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India. He has completed his Ph.D. and M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology, Thanjavur, and Bachelor of Science from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He is qualified ICAR-NET and received Senior Research Fellowship from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, India for his doctoral research. He has also qualified for many national level exams with excellent scores, secured national rank 5th in the ICAR-JRF examination and 1st rank in the Junior Food analyst examination conducted by FSSAI, India. He has authored over 10 publications in reputed journals and book chapters. He is also a member of reputed professional bodies and serves as reviewer for esteemed journals. His research area is on nonthermal processing, 3D printing of foods, nanoscale food processing, and plant proteins.
