Dr. Ashutosh Ranjan is a Research Associate in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University and Master of Science degree in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University. He completed his Ph.D. in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University. He was awarded best oral presenter and best research in an international conference on “Functional Biology in Molecular interaction” 2017, held at Lucknow, India. He has earned several recognitions in International and National research conferences and meetings
Dr. Ashutosh Ranjan is interested in the field of GPCR biology, Structural biology, Reproductive health, Endocrinology, Metabolic disorders, Physiology. His current research focuses on exploring structural complexity of GPCRs. His research interest also includes role of neuropeptides in regulation of male and female reproduction during different metabolic abnormalities like obesity and type-2 diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) etc.
