Dr. Dixit is Assistant Professor in Amity Institute of Neuropsychology and Neurosciences, Amity University, Noida, India. She has completed her PhD degree from CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research and Banaras Hindu University, India. Her PhD work was focused on comparison of the mitochondrial proteome profile of toxins MPTP and combined maneb and paraquat-induced mouse models of Parkinson’s disease. After completing PhD, she has joined Indian Institute of Science, India for her postdoctoral research. During her postdoctoral work, she identified a chemosensory neuronal G protein-coupled receptor which regulates life span in diet and temperature dependent manner in Caenorhabditis elegans. She has been awarded with various research fellowships during PhD and post doc. She is involved in teaching UG and PG courses including Principles of Neuroscience, Fundamentals of Neurophysiology, Neuroethology, Sensory and Motor Systems etc.
Dr. Anubhuti Dixit research interests include aging, neurodegeneration and Parkinson’s disease. Her research focuses on understanding the mechanism of neuronal regulation of aging and its effect on age associated neurodegeneration
