Dr. Shora was interested in clinical medical researches since he was an undergraduate second year medical student and published a brief review in acute diarrhea in 1984. He continued making researches after graduation along with his career as a medical clinician. He attained Physician Recognition Award of The American Medical association in 2003 and 2007. Furthermore, he still continues medical education CME and attained three thousand five hundred category 1 credit hours of AMA. He published twenty four original research papers in international medical journals concerning both type 1 and type 2 diabetes focusing on cardiovascular prevention via novel markers and early detection of vascular complications of diabetes. He also has a strong interest in systems and precision medicine in diabetes management. Now he is supervising Master and PhD theses in molecular medicine of diabetes via establishing a cooperative link with professors of Faculty of science, Port-Said University in Diabetes research program. He also is working editor for several journals woldwide.He is verified peer reviewer of more than thirty medical jornals and peer-reviewed more than huundred research papers for almost thirty medical journals. He joined Harvard Medical School-Egypt CSRT in 2020.
