Asst. Prof. Dr. Kye Mon Min Swe is currently working at University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. She engages with various roles and responsibilities such as course coordinator for undergraduate medical program, and supervisor of Doctor of Philosophy (Medical science) program. She serves as subcommittee chair of teaching and learning under Medical Education Unit of UTAR and also as committee member of curriculum review committee. Dr Kye Mon Min Swe received her MBBS and Master of Medical Science in Public Health degrees from University of Medicine 1 Yangon, Myanmar in year 2003 and 2007 respectively. Then, she worked at University of Public Health as lecturer for two years. In 2011, she received ASEAN scholarship from Chulalongkorn University to pursue Doctor of philosophy in Public Health and received her Ph.D. degree in 2014. Her experienced in Medical education is more than 15 years since 2005 and she also received her Post Graduate certificate in Clinical Education from Newcastle university, UK and Master in Medical Science (medical education) from University Malaya respectively. Primary Care Medicine is also her passion and she received the Graduate Certificate in Family Medicine from Academy of Family Physician, Malaysia. She published more than 20 papers in the field of epidemiology, occupational health, adolescent health and medical education and also a review author of Cochrane Collaboration. She serves as editorial member and reviewer of peer review international journals
Asst. Prof. Dr. Kye Mon Min Swe research interests are epidemiological study, adolescent health, occupational health, medical education research and haematological disorders.
