Asst prof. Tarika Kumar served as an academician, teacher and researcher since 2008 after my PhD from Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology. She served as Head, PG Department of Microbiology, Brindavan College, Bangalore, India. he moved to Irvine, California, USA in late 2010 and helped Dr So, UCI in editing a book on Acupuncture relating it with Anatomy (Acupuncture Anatomy Regional micro anatomy and systemic acupuncture networks). Further, she served as Junior Specialist in Peripheral Nerve Research Lab, Gillespie Hall, University of California. she also did a private job as Quality Control Manager, Nature’s Flavors, Orange, CA, USA. After 3 years of residence in USA, she returned back to India and joined Reva University, Bangalore as Assistant Professor and spent 3 years. she left for Gujarat, India in 2016 and joined Parul University, Vadodara in Parul Institute of Applied Sciences. In 2019, she joined The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, her current job in Department of Environmental Studies, Faculty of Science. Her Research Interests are very broad ranging in Microbiology fields. she also have been awarded with research grants BIOTHON- 2018: Hackathon of Biotech Solutions for State Problems under the theme- “Swachchh Bharat†entitled ‘Biological Production of Polyhydroxyalkanoates from Biowastes’. He is also working on Research Grant “Standardization of root trainers and potting mixture for seed/seedling of eight forest tree species and Trichoderma (Bio-fertilizer) application†awarded by Gujarat Forestry Research Foundation, Gandhinagar
