Asst prof. Samander Kaushik, completed his PhD in Virology (Microbiology) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India, in 2010. Since then, he has been working as an assistant professor at Maharshi Dayanand University's Centre for Biotechnology in Rohtak, Haryana, India. His research group is developing rapid, sensitive, specific, and cost-effective diagnostic tests and treatment agents. He has twenty years of expertise in this field and has published more than forty papers in PubMed/Scopus-indexed/peer-reviewed journals, as well as three book chapters with an 820 citation index. He received financial support from a variety of sources for his lab's research efforts
