Jayaprakash Kolla received his Ph.D. from Acharya Nagarjuna University, in Microbiology (2008). He started his research career in 2008 in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Laila Nutraceuticals. Afterward, he did his post-doctoral research at National Centre for Biological Sciences, Dept. of Cell signaling, Bangalore, India. Further, he was awarded an Independent DST-Young scientist project and pursued research in Molecular Oncology at the Centre for DNA fingerprinting and diagnostics, Hyderabad, India. From 2013-2018, he extended his career as a scientist in drug discovery research at Hetero Drugs Ltd. He conducted several preclinical studies for potential antivirals and anti-inflammatory small molecules and attained proficiency in regulatory fulfillment of Investigational new drugs. Thereafter, he joined in CZ-OPENSCREEN (National node of the pan-European ESFRI infrastructure EU-OPENSCREEN), Czech Republic and engaged in various high throughput screening projects including nuclear receptor profiling and anti-inflammatory agents
