Assistant Professor Dr. Kumaraswamy Naidu Chitrala is an Assistant Professor (Research) at Fels Institute for Cancer
Research and Molecular Biology, Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine. He is
currently leading the Bioinformatics core facility at Fels Institute for Cancer Research &
Molecular Biology, Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Temple University. My research has primarily
been in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics with the application of different high-performance
computational approaches to solving biological problems. I have published over 30 research
publications, 4 book chapters and over 30 abstracts by participating at national and
international meetings. Over the past few years, my research has been primarily focused on the
implementation of transcriptomic, genomics data analysis tools and algorithms to perform a
broad range of data analyses for emerging genomics technologies for basic and translational
research projects.
