Dr. Aghimien Ehimwenma Victor

Biography

Dr. Aghimien Ehimwenma Victor is a Lecturer of Forest Biometrics and Remote Sensing at the Federal College of Forest Resources Management, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Forestry and Wildlife at the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He also holds his master’s and doctorate degrees in Forest Biometrics and Remote Sensing at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. His research work involves the application of qualitative and quantitative data to prescribe solutions to forest resources management problems. He is a member of Regional-based Forest Carbon Assessment for Climate Change Mitigation (REDD+) in West Africa. He participated in the National Forest (Carbon) Inventory Exercise organized by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Nigeria. He was a participant at the Forest Reference Emission Level (FREL) validation workshop in Nigeria. Dr. Aghimien Ehimwenma Victor has published 40+ articles (as both author and co-author) in reputable academic journals. Dr. Aghimien Ehimwenma Victor is Editorial Member of Continental Journal of Agricultural Science. He belongs to numerous learned professional bodies
