Ms. Vertika Singh holds a Master’s degree in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University. She is presently pursuing Ph.D. from Department of Molecular and Human Genetics, Banaras Hindu University. Her research interest is based on understanding the genomic imbalances (Deletions/ Duplications) in human infertile patients. She elucidated for the first time that the DNA repair pathway is compromised in testis of infertile azoospermic men. She has published her work in various reputed journals such as, DNA repair (2019), Human Reproduction (2018), Mutation Research - Genetic Toxicology and Environmental Mutagenesis (2018), Journal of Assisted reproduction and Genetics (2018), Meta Gene (2018), Frontiers in bioscience (Scholar edition) (2017), PloS one (2016), Gene (2014) and various book chapters. She has experience in the field of male reproductive biology with emphasis on genetics and genomics of human male infertility. She has received Best Young Researcher award at the “6th World Congress on Biotechnology†organized by OMICS International, held on October 05â€07,2015 in New Delhi, India.
Ms. Vertika’s areas of interest includes genetics and genomics of human male infertility.
