Rikesh Kumar Dubey is a Ph.D Scholar at Microbiology Division in CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India. He obtained his Master degree in Applied Microbiology from Banaras Hindu University,Varanasi, India. He has done his undergraduate and postgraduate degree both in the field of microbiology. He has published scientific research articles in international peer reviewed journals. He is serving as Editorial Panel member of internationally reputed journal EC Microbiology and EC Proteomics and Bioinformatics. He also writes scientific articles in science magazines to make science popular among people. His areas of research are multidisciplinary involves molecular biology, microbiology, cell signaling and drug development. Currently, he is involved to find out the role of mitochondria in mycobacterial infection. He is also working on virulence factor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis which helps to establish successful infection in the host macrophages and also promotes its growth and intracellular survival. He has also attended several national and international conferences and meetings with his current area of interests.
