"Dr. Munirah Yewande JINADU was born to the Emiabata family of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a widowed mother of three children.
She has over thirty years postgraduate experience as a physician having earned her MBBS degree at the famous University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Training for her specialty; public health was at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Dr. Jinadu’s career has been in the federal (national) service of Nigeria, particularly in medicine. She has held several positions including national programme coordinator for control of four parasitic diseases. She has served as Nigeria’s chief epidemiologist and also recently as CEO/Medical Director of Nigeria’s busiest Federal Medical Centre.
Dr. Jinadu is well travelled. She has been involved in field activity in twenty three out of the thirty six states of Nigeria and has attended official events in over fifteen countries"
