Dr. Neha Bakshi is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Food and Nutrition, Lady Irwin College since 2016. She has done Masters in Foods and Nutrition with specialization in Clinical Nutrition. She has been awarded the Ph.D. degree in 2017 by the University of Delhi which focused on the " Adults patients undergoing Liver Transplant pre and post nutritional profile". She has work experience of more than 3 years as a Clinical Nutritionist in eminent multispecialty hospitals in Delhi and NCR. She contributed various research publications in national and international journals and chapters in books. She has been a presenter of various research papers at National and International conferences. She was also associated with the National Centre of Excellence and Advanced Research on Diets for the development of communication tools to promote nutrition among the general population. She is a certified trainer for Food safety by FSSAI for Advanced Catering, Street Food Vending, and Covid19-TOT and also certified by the National Institute of Drug Abuse for Good Clinical Practice. She has been a trainer as well as a jury member at the National Abilympics Association of India under the National Skill Development Corporation. She is a master trainer for the Entrepreneurship Development Programme by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. She has been the co-supervisor of more than 10 Post Graduate dissertation students. She is a life member of the Indian Dietetics Association, Nutrition Society of India and Indian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. Her area of interest is clinical nutrition, nutrition therapy, developing dietary intervention protocols for critically ill patients, and planning nutrition strategies for the prevention and treatment of disease conditions.
