Dr. Salah Raslan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, in Cairo 2000. His Ph.D. thesis (2009): “Roux en Y gastric bypass and the role of Leptin”. Between 2009-2017, He followed postdoctoral research, one of them Evaluation of cutting Seton as a method of treatment of perianal fistula in 2016. He became an associate professor of general surgery at the faculty of medicine, Ain shams University. Dr. Raslan is interested in abdominal, laparoscopic surgery, oncologic surgery. Dr. Raslan attended many postgraduate courses of bariatric and Colorectal surgery in university of Dundee, Edinburgh, UK. Dr. Raslan is a member of the Egyptian society of Surgeons, the Saudi general surgery society. He is also a member of several editorial boards.
Dr. Raslan main research interests are: - Colorectal surgery in its different aspects.
