Dr. P. Karuppanan obtained B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2004. He creditably completed his M.E. degree in VLSI Design from Anna University in 2007. He obtained his PhD from the NIT-Rourkela in 2012. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh; he assumed this position in October 2012. He has been recognized as a highly motivated Lecturer and Research fellow who infuses positive attitude with innovative solutions for extreme frontiers. He has published more than 30 research articles and completed 3-funded research projects by TEQIP-MNNIT, BRNS and CSIR respectively. His research specialization is focused on VLSI Design, Soft Computing Techniques and Applied Electronics.
