Associate Professor Tariq Tawfeeq Yousif Alabdullah holds a PhD degree in Accounting (2015) from University Sains Malaysia (USM). He is a lecturer at Accounting section, College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, Iraq. He has published several papers ( Scopus and ISI) in international journals and proceedings and presented papers at several international conferences in Turkey, Malaysia (two international conferences), Italy (three international conferences; Roma, Venice, and Milan), USA (three international conferences; New Orleans, Boston “ held at Harvard University”, New York), Germany (two international conferences; Luneburg and Berlin) , France, Spain, Austria, and Jordan (two international conferences). He is one of the members on the 77 international journals and international conference. Based on the Global AD Scientific Index, and within my major of accounting, finance, management and economics, He has got No 1 at the level of Basra University, No. 1 in Iraq, No. 45 in Asia and No 478 in the world.

His research interest is in the areas of Corporate Governance and Firm Performance.
